Ornaments in the Mail

I joined a terrific holiday ornament swap hosted by cake+pie and freshly{blended}.  These are some of the lovely handmade ornaments I received (still waiting on three others… hopefully they’ll arrive soon).  Excuse the quality of the photographs.  I’ve linked where I could so you could see better representations of the originals.

A lovely star made by Zanne of Zannestars with scrap ribbons, fabric, and sequins sandwiched between two layers of vinyl.  Gorgeous and with a nice personal history too.

Fantastic cut paper ornaments with beads from the creative Elaine of My Hat.  Check out her other work – mind boggling.

Sweet and delicate beaded wire snowflakes from Sarah of My Spare Time.

A stunning victorian bobble in gold by Patricia of Patricia Kaegi Weiss.

A very clever textile piece by Lisa Wenzler.

And my all time favorite by Marisa Louise Carta of *bellalou*.  A very yummy robins egg.  I have it nestled in my tree’s branches.

My contribution was a recycled piece.

Again a huge thank you to the ladies that worked on getting these out in time for Christmas.  My family is truly enjoying the holiday cheer they provide on our Christmas tree.

I try to plug away at a few things in between pulling my hair out and chasing down my three year old son.
