I know Mommy and Daddy are only looking out for my best interests, but what is this rice cereal they keep putting in my mouth. Where are my pears?

I’m eating solids now, which I started on Monday, January 17, 2004. I know it doesn’t look like it, but I do like my rice cereal mixed with pear juice. I especially like my pears. Daddy insists I eat the cereal first though.
